DMS Janitorial Services Launches New Janitorial Website!
SmartSites redesigns and rebuilds the DMS Janitorial Services website on WordPress, taking it from about 10 pages to more than 150, including pages for the 124 cities the company serves.
DMS Janitorial Services, a commercial-only cleaning company in Placentia, California, went live with its new website on October 13, and the SmartSites team designed and built it! The new janitorial website design finally gives a company that cleans buildings across much of Southern California a site big enough to show it.
DMS has been cleaning offices, warehouses and other commercial spaces in Orange County for more than 30 years. It doesn’t use subcontractors, so every technician who walks into a client’s building is a DMS employee, and the company is licensed, bonded and insured. Until this project, though, DMS was relying on a website of roughly 10 pages. Most of the cities it serves weren’t mentioned anywhere, several services had no page of their own, and a facility manager one county over had no quick way to tell whether DMS would even come to them.
SmartSites redesigned and rebuilt the site on WordPress and grew it to more than 150 pages. That starts with 10 dedicated service pages, covering janitorial services, day porter services, floor care, carpet cleaning, deep cleaning, window cleaning, post-construction cleanup, facility maintenance, warehouse floor sweeping and scrubbing and janitorial supplies, plus an Industries page for the kinds of facilities the team maintains.
The biggest piece of the build is the Locations We Service section. It links to individual pages for all 124 cities DMS covers, along with Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties and the Inland Empire, so a property manager anywhere in that footprint can land on a page written about their own city instead of a generic one.
We put a quote request form on every one of those city pages and throughout the rest of the site. Someone comparing cleaning companies on their lunch break can ask DMS for pricing in under a minute, without hunting for a contact page or waiting on hold.
The janitorial website design leans on the things that set DMS apart, its three decades in business, its in-house crews, its licensing and insurance, and its BusinessRate awards, and keeps them visible as visitors move from page to page. Layouts are clean and the site works smoothly on phones, which matters for managers who check vendors between meetings rather than at a desk.
Two features are aimed at specific audiences. A new Careers page with an online application supports DMS’s practice of hiring its own staff, and a Safety Data Sheets library gives clients one place to find the SDS documents for the products used in their buildings.
